About Wolf-Fenrir
Fenrir (pronounced “FEN-rir?” Old Norse Fenrir, “He who dwells in the marshes” is the most infamous of the many wolves in Norse mythology.
Its importance to the pre-Christian Norse is evidenced by its depiction on numerous surviving stones, not to mention its ubiquity in Old Norse literary sources.
He is the son of the god Loki and the giantess Angrboda, which makes him the brother of the serpent Jormungad and the goddess of the underworld Hel.
